BarryM Web Effect.

Hey guys,
Today i wanna write about the new BarryM Web Effect Polish.
If i'm honest i was a bit disappointed with this polish, i'm glad it was free. There was an offer when got this polish buy any two Barrym nail products and get it free.

This isn't all that it makes out it to me. I feel to make the black and orange look which is on the lid you have to use alot of ornage otherwise it looks dull. Plus i would of thought making it black would have been alot easier?
This i got excited about with halloween coming up i thought it was a good idea and i was looking forward to creating nail art with it but .....

As you can see it looks more like the normal crackle than a spider web. I can slightly see the web coming through on the left with the two long lines but then it changes on the right. I have tried using different tempreatures to create different patterns like you can do with crackle but this was the closest i got to the "web Effect".

I wouldn't recommend anyone go out and buy this if they are after the actual web effect but if you like BarryM polishes like i do you may as well get it whilst it is still on offer and get it free and you can't moan too much if it is free.

Nail Art.

Hey Guys,
I wanted to share with you a nail art i tried a couple of days ago, i will say in advance i'm sorry i didn't take pictures for a step by step as i it was a trial and error and it turned out okay, if you would like me to do step by step pictures i will for you and i will edit and updaate on the blog but i will try to explain how i did this look as best as i can.
Step one: Start by painting the whole nail white.
Step two: Once the white is dry in a diagonal line from corner to croner paint one side of the nail pink.
Step three: Whilst the pink is drying becareful not to knock it using either nail art dotting tools, a toothpick or nail art pen make little black lines on the white, have a picture of Zebra print to help you as i wish i had.
Step four: using the same tool as step three making sure it is clean use either a silver of gold and draw a line where the pink and white connect to split it apart from each other.
Step five: Leave the nails awhile to dry and apply a top coat and you're done.
It's pretty straight forward i would say on each nail start from the little nail and work towards the thumb to ensure you don't knock the nails.
I hope you enjoyed this mini tutorial and if you need picture step by step i would be happy to help.

Book Review.

Hey Guys,
i recently finished reading a book called I heart Vegas and so i thought i would do a little review on it. This book was writtn by Lindsey Kelk and i did enjoy it, but it isn't one i will be keeping as i don't think i would like to read it again.
To give you a bit of help what the story is about here is the Blurb/Synopsis: Angela Clark loves her life in New York. She a Brit who’s conquered the Big Apple. Unfortunately, she’s also a Brit who’s lost her job. And when, just a couple of weeks before Christmas, the immigration department gets wind of this, Angela needs to find a new job urgently. Or a husband. And she doesn’t think her boyfriend Alex will be keen.
A girls’ weekend in Vegas with her best friend Jenny seems the perfect way to forget her troubles. From the minute they arrive Angela is swept up in a whirl of cocktails, outrageous outfits, late nights and brushes with the chapel of love. But rather than escaping trouble, Angela is up to her neck in it….
But what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas – right?

I loved the sound of this book and i glad i bought it, It was a very easy book to read and if i was aloud the time i would have been able to read this in one sitting, but i found the book very predictable and i knew what was going to happen. Obviously in Vegas someone gets married ..Correct, Does it all work out in the end ..Correct, sorry for spoling it but it was like i knew what was going to happen already and that was what ruined it for me. Saying that i would like to read the other books just to see how they read and maybe i will change my mind.

There is a website for this book here and on the site you will find the other books and about the author. I have recently become a follower of her blogs and i hope you will too.
I hope you enjoyed this blog and i will be back soon with more book reviews :D

Autumn Polish!

Hey guys,
Sorry it has been awhile, i've been busy. I have a few blogs to write today to keep up to date sorry.
Todays blog is about nails polishes i think suit for the autumn time. I do wear bright colours to but when i look into my box of polishes these are the few i lean towards the most during these few months.

As you can see these are all Dark and warm colours and they very much remind me of Autumn. I love mushroom the most as it reminds me of the brown leaves and my brown Ugg boots, hehe.
I hope you enjoyed this mini nail polish for Autumn blog.

Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqW60wgH8vQ to how Bubz did it, which i did the same way but with dotting tools instead of tooth pick and with different colours.

Bored!

Hey Guys,
As you may have realised i am unemployed and sadly due to contracts and having to pay my mother board i have had to sign on for job seekers allowance, which i hate. I feel embarrased to go and sign on every two weeks and feel that they pick on all the bad things you have but none of the good.
I have been sent on many courses already to help me find a job and there has only been one that actually helped. It was called a4e and it was a free voluntary 2 day course, they helped me realise how to better my cover letter and CV.
Without going off track i am bored of being stuck at home. All family and friends work and i'm stuck here doing nothing. I tried things to help me pass the time, but there is only so much reading you can do in one day. I tried online window shopping but that made me realise i can't actually buy of this stuff which made me a little sad. I have played Nintendo Ds games, but i completed one within a day, so i need to buy more games haha. So i wondered if you can help me?
Have you any ideas for things i can do to ease the boredom?
Reading i do.
playing games i do.
Internet searching i do.
But i can't think of anything else that isn't going to be expensive to start. EG: i thought of knitting, but i would need to buy wool, the knitting needles and stuff.
Please offer any ideas, i'm so bored haha.
